Primary Feature

Package Levels

Basic Package

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This package suits existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value by adding in permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's long-running monthly subscription service which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection is so worth it, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. The one caveat here is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.
